when Victoria met Eric...

Victoria and Eric’s love story began in 2020, after matching on the dating app Hinge. They spent a few weeks trading messages and viral TikToks before Victoria—who had been quarantining at her parents’ house—came up with an excuse to “check on her apartment” in the city. The real goal? Give Eric an opening to suggest meeting in person. It worked like a charm.

On May 8th, 2020, in the pouring rain, Victoria showed up at Eric’s apartment on East 90th Street. And before anyone says anything — it was 2020. Nothing was normal, and there was literally nowhere else to go! They spent hours talking over a bottle of wine (or two), and as Victoria was leaving, she asked Eric if he wanted to hang out again the next weekend… to which Eric replied, “Do you want to hang out every weekend?”
And they did …that summer was full of long walks through Central Park, quiet adventures around their empty city, and a lot of to-go margaritas. Early date nights consisted of Eric’s cooking lessons—essential for Vic, who had previously survived on boxed mac and cheese. She still prefers to spectate, but her skills have improved.

As the city reopened, their relationship continued to grow - Victoria introduced Eric to her family and friends, and Eric brought Victoria to California and Florida to meet his. In 2022, they moved into their apartment, right across from Central Park where they had spent so much time together. In 2023, they brought home their cat Minnie. She is the queen of their life.

Eric proposed in Central Park on September 14th, 2024, with both of their families waiting nearby to celebrate. It was a perfect day and a true testament to how much Eric loves Victoria. Now, they can't wait to say “I do” this November and feel incredibly grateful to begin this next chapter surrounded by the people they love most.
